OVERVIEW

The Marel OptiCut volumetric portioning machine is designed to cut boneless meat into fixed-weight portions with uniform shape. The product is placed into a mould where it is formed before being accurately cut.

CUT-OFF GIVES WAY TO PROFIT

One of OptiCut’s main advantages is the full optimization of raw material. With such high utilization, cut-off is virtually eliminated, resulting in yield of up to 100%.

OPTIMAL MATERIAL UTILIZATION

Volumetric portioning and new optimizing software ensure maximum product utilization with high yield and accuracy.

FIXED WEIGHT

Accurate portions are delivered either individually or stacked together into a fixed-weight batch. Trim pieces can be removed automatically.

600 mm/24” product ‘tower’. Also available with a 400 mm1/16” ‘turkey’ tower.

Can cut up to 2.0 cut/sec (120 cut pr min 7200 cut pr hour) 2.

Slice diameter from 80x40 mm to 120x200 mm.
